Currently, this feature is in beta testing and will only be available to select users.
Prizeout is an added feature in the Tapcheck app, which gives users discounts on regular purchases by allowing them to purchase gift cards from various businesses, with an added bonus in advance.

Prizeout will be offered to Tapcheck users via a display on the home-screen of the Tapcheck App.

📱 User Experience
These are the steps users will take to use the Prizeout feature.

Steps
- Log into the Tapcheck app.
- Scroll to the bottom of the home screen.
- Press the "Prizeout" window.

- Navigate through the Load Screen.
- Select a retailer, restaurant, or entertainment provider.
- Choose the desired gift card amount and view associated rewards.
- Confirm the purchase by hitting the confirm button.
- Press "Return to Tapcheck" after connecting to the Prizeout system.
- Agree to pay using Tapcheck and view the associated fee.
- Authorize the deduction from wages using standard authorization.
- Confirm and complete the purchase.
- Check your email for a confirmation with a "View your gift card" button.
- Click the button to access the full gift card code and redemption instructions.'

- Go to the Tapcheck app's Prizeout feature.
- Tap on "wallet" to access your gift cards and codes.
- Create a Prizeout account if you haven't already.

Inform the user that they can try again by pressing "go back to Prizeout", and that if they see their balance decreased this is only a temporary hold; the funds used to attempt prizeout will be available again in their Tapcheck account within 24 hours. If the user has balance they would still like to use to prizeout, they can try again. |

Q: Is this a standard app feature that is offered to all employees?
A: This feature will be available for all users of Tapcheck.
Q: Who can use Prizeout?
A: Currently, this feature is in beta testing and will only be available to select users.
Q: What kinds of Gift Cards can users purchase with Prizeout?
A: Examples include Instacart, Sams Club, Apple, H&M, HomeChef, Starbucks, and more.
Q: How much does Prizeout cost to use?
A: The fee is the same as the Instant Transfer Fee for each company.
Q: How is the transfer fee charged to the user when they purchase a gift card?
A: The fee is taken from the Tapcheck Balance, but they receive the full gift card amount. For example, if a user purchases a gift card for $20, they pay a fee from their Tapcheck balance of $4.95, and the total taken from their Tapcheck balance is $24.95.
Q: Can they bundle multiple cards?
A: No, bundling is not possible. The fee is PER gift card requested.
Q: Are there daily limits to the amounts they can utilize for gift card purchases?
A: The daily limit for gift card purchases will be the same as the user's daily limit for their Tapcheck account transfers. For instance, if a user has a daily transfer limit of $200 on their Tapcheck account, the daily limit for Gift Cards with Prizeout is also $200.
Q: Where Is the Gift card purchase notification and redemption sent?
A: The gift card purchase notification and redemption are sent to the email address the user has on file for Tapcheck.
Q: Can they change the email address?
A: Employees have the ability to change their email address in the app and can also contact support to do so.
Q: What happens if the email address was input incorrectly?
A: Employees can manage their Gift cards by pressing the Wallet icon in the Prizeout Feature.
Q: Can a GC be sent to another individual/email address?
A: Gift card details will only be sent to the email address on file.
Q: What is the expected turnaround time to receive their Gift Card details via email?
A: The email should come through instantly.
Q: What happens if the purchase is successful but the Gift Card is not received? Who do they contact?
A: TBD
Q: What happens if the transaction is successful, but the email is not received?
A: Employees can manage their Gift cards by pressing the Wallet icon in the Prizeout Feature.
Q: If a gift card hasn't been utilized can it be canceled so the user can receive the funds back?
A: All sales are final, Prizeout and Tapcheck are unable to revert purchased gift cards via Prizeout.
Q: Can users check the remaining balance on their gift cards?
A: The wallet section of Tapcheck will only reflect the original purchase amount, but remaining balances will show on the physical receipt after a purchase. Certain companies such as Starbucks will allow you to manage and combine remaining balances in the app.
Q: Can an employee send/share the GC once purchased?
A: It appears the GC code can be screenshot and shared, or email confirmation forwarded.
